Grounds Crew 1st Shift (MEMI)
Description
Position Summary: Grounds Crew is a part-time position employed by Music Event Management Incorporated (MEMI) with a flexible schedule and a wide variety of available hours. Grounds Crew facilitates the day-to-day property upkeep of Riverbend Music Center and employees will work in small teams to maintain the property pre and post show. We are seeking hardworking, determined people who work well in a group setting and display skills of proactivity.
Requirements
- Attention to detail and efficient time management skills
- Willingness to work outdoors and in various weather conditions, especially heat and rain, for a majority of an 8-hour shift
- Understanding and willingness to work around events including weekends and some holidays
- Ability to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift
- Capability to lift up to 40lbs
- Willingness to perform tasks on a 6-8ft ladder
- Ability to work in a small group of up to 4 people
Available Shifts:
- Start Times: 6am – 10am, schedule based on needs of shows
- Duration: 8 hours

Requirements

- Understanding and willingness to work around events including weekends, nights and some holidays

Bartender/Cashier, Food Worker & Cash Room Clerk (EVT Management)
Bartender/Cashier Position Summary: A professional, high-energy bartender/cashier with excellent communication skills to serve beverages and food to concert going customers. The bartender will greet customers, take their order, and prepare and serve beverages (including liquor) and food as requested. The cashier will greet customers, take their order, and prepare and serve beverages (excluding liquor) and food as requested. Bartenders/Cashier will also participate in preparing their assigned concession area before the show and clean up after the show. Employees in these roles will have a neat appearance, an engaging and friendly personality and should be efficient, observant, and knowledgeable about the product sold in the venue.
Cash Room Clerk Position Summary: A professional who is detail oriented and can work in a collaborative environment to ensure the accuracy and security of large amounts of cash. Cash room staff will always work with a partner to prepare cash amounts for each point of sale (POS)and support distribution of additional funds or collection of funds throughout the course of the event.
Food Worker Position Summary: A professional, high-energy person who will work collaboratively in concession kitchen. Responsibilities may include food preparation, grill cooking, fryer cooking and food management.

- Start times vary based on the needs of event; but usually in the afternoon and/or evenings.
- The duration of shifts varies upon the needs of the event; approximately 3 to 8 hours.
Runner/Warehouse Support Staff (EVT Management)
Runner Position Summary: A professional, high-energy person who will work collaboratively to ensure concession locations are well stocked with product and food items for serving customers. Runners will keep an eye on dwindling product and restock as quickly and efficiently as possible when needed or requested. Runners will assist with maintaining a clean concession area before and after the show. Runners should be efficient, forward thinking, observant and possess a can-do attitude. Runners will support movement of product in assigned location(s).
Warehouse Support Staff Position Summary: A professional, high-energy person who will work collaboratively to ensure concession orders are fulfilled in a timely manner. Warehouse staff will respond to requests for additional product(s) from the warehouse during events as needed or requested. Warehouse staff will assist with maintaining a clean, organized and safe warehouse. Warehouse staff should be team oriented, efficient, observant and possess a can-do attitude.

- The duration of shifts varies upon the needs of the event; approximately 3 to 15 hours.
Lead Bartender, Stand Supervisor & Cash Room Supervisor (EVT Management)
Lead Bartender Position Summary: A professional, high-energy bartender with excellent communication skills to serve food & beverages to customers. The Lead bartender will greet customers, take their order, and prepare and serve beverages (including liquor) and food as requested. Lead bartenders will also participate in preparing their assigned concession area before the show and clean up after the show. Lead bartenders will handle general customer service issues, support bartenders as needed during the event and will assist in the cash drawer close-out process at the end of the event. This position will also participate in ordering inventory and non-inventory items for their concession area for upcoming events. Employees in these roles will have a neat appearance and an engaging, friendly personality. Lead bartenders should be efficient, observant, and knowledgeable about the venue’s point of sale (POS) system and products available by location.
Stand Supervisor Position Summary A professional with excellent communication skills to oversee food & beverage operations. Stand supervisors will also participate in preparing their assigned concession area before the show and clean up after the show. Stand Supervisors will handle general customer service issues, support staff as needed during the event and will assist in the cash drawer close-out process at the end of the event. This position will also participate in ordering inventory and non-inventory items for their concession area for upcoming events. Employees in these roles will have a neat appearance and an engaging, friendly personality. Stand Supervisors should be efficient, observant, and knowledgeable about the venue’s point of sale system (POS) and products available by location.
Cash Room Clerk Position Summary: A professional who is detail oriented and can work in a collaborative environment to ensure the accuracy and security of large amounts of cash. The cash room supervisor will also be responsible for preparing reports and monitoring the vault. Financial experience is beneficial.

VIP Club Bartender and Server (EVT Management)
VIP Club Bartender Position Summary: A professional, high-energy bartender with excellent communication skills to serve beverages to premium seat clients in the full-service VIP restaurant and backstage patio. The bartender will greet customers, take their order, and prepare and serve beverages (including liquor) to provide an elevated dining experience through exceptional service. Bartenders will fill the role of service bartender as needed. Bartenders will also participate in preparing their assigned concession area before the event and clean up after the event. Employees in these roles will have a neat appearance and an engaging, friendly personality and should be efficient, observant, and knowledgeable about the product sold in the venue.
VIP Club Server Position Summary: A professional, high-energy server with excellent communication skills to serve food & beverages to premium seat clients in the full-service VIP restaurant. The server will greet guests at tables, take their order, and provide an elevated dining experience through exceptional service. Servers will participate in preparing the restaurant before events and clean up after the event. Employees in these roles will have a neat appearance and an engaging, friendly personality and should be efficient, observant, and knowledgeable about the restaurant menu.

VIP Club Food Runner and Host (EVT Management)
VIP Club Food Runner Position Summary: A professional, detail orientated person who will work collaboratively to ensure guests in a full-service VIP restaurant have an exceptional experience. Food runners will track the progress of orders; ensure they are properly expedited from the kitchen to guests seated at tables. They will assist in clearing tables to maximize table availability and will assist with maintaining a clean restaurant and kitchen before and after the event. Food runners should be efficient, forward thinking, observant, possess a can-do attitude and be knowledgeable about menu items.
VIP Club Host Position Summary: A professional, high-energy and detail orientated person who will work collaboratively to ensure guests, in a full-service VIP restaurant, have an exceptional experience. Hosts will greet guests and using a seating/waitlist software will either seat them at tables on a rotating basis or communicate the availability of a table. Hosts will assist in clearing tables to maximize table availability and maintain a clean restaurant before, during and after the event. Employees working in this role should be efficient, forward thinking, observant, and possess a can-do attitude.
