More Great Shows at PNC Pavilion, On Sale SATURDAY!

Friday, March 26th, 2010

We’ve got three great shows going on sale tomorrow (Saturday, March 27) at 10am for PNC Pavilion!

First, we’ve got the Honda Civic Tour featuring PARAMORE and TEGAN AND SARA! This is the first time either of these bands have been to Riverbend and I think it’s going to be a great time! Paramore keeps getting bigger and bigger and just recently released another album, brand new eyes, with some more great hits. Tegan and Sara have been one of my favorites for a while, if you haven’t hear them before be sure to check out their website and listen to their music. They’ll be a great addition to Paramore and The Honda Civic Tour! This show will be here at PNC Pavilion on August 12 and tickets do go on sale March 27 at 10am! Click HERE to purchase!

Next up is Willie Nelson! He’ll be at PNC Pavilion May 12, our first show! What’s there to say about Willie Nelson? He’s a legend and has always had a great following. So if you’re one of his many fans, be sure to get your tickets at 10am on March 27, because they’re in high demand! Click HERE for your tickets!

And then, always a favorite, we’ve got Chicago AND The Doobie Brothers together on July 13! The two legendary bands will both perform equal sets at PNC Pavilion and then join each other on stage at the end of the night. Chicago was here last year with Earth, Wind, and Fire and put on one amazing show, so be sure to catch them with The Doobie Brothers (an equally amazing and legendary rock group!) in July! Get your tickets HERE starting March 27 at 10am!

That’s all for now! Lots is happening here at Riverbend and PNC Pavilion so be sure to stay tuned; sign up for our email newsletter if you already don’t get it, become a fan on Facebook, and follow us on Twitter! See you all soon!

Friday, March 26th, 2010

Hello all! Two big shows just went on sale today at 10am!

Also, 311 returns to Riverbend! This is always a great show, and I’ve seen so much energy from these fans in the past week that can’t wait to get their tickets! Including some awesome people on Twitter show were even going to camp out here last night for tickets! Unfortunately, our box office doesn’t open here at Riverbend until May, but you can hit up ticketmaster.com HERE to snag your tickets for this show. Should be a great time! And I expect these fans to live up to my expectations of them and have some FUN down in the pavilion!

More shows for PNC go on sale tomorrow and Sting at Riverbend goes on sale Monday at 10am!

More Great Shows!

Wednesday, March 17th, 2010

We just announced three more great shows this week! First, we’ll bring back 311 on June 26. No word on an opening or additional act yet. Last year we had Ziggy Marley and the year before Snoop Dogg, so we can’t wait to hear who will be joining them this year!

Next, we announced Kings Of Leon! Last year they were our first sold out show at PNC Pavilion and, with just cause, this year they are moving to Riverbend Music Center. The show is September 4, tickets go on sale March 26 at 10am! They were amazing last year, so if you weren’t able to get a ticket to that show now is your chance!

And yesterday we announced a big one…Sting! He’ll be here with The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra. But don’t worry, he’ll be playing all the hits that you want to hear! Here’s a blurb from our recent press release.
Drawing from a diverse and illustrious career that has produced numerous multi-platinum albums, a staggering list of number one songs, countless accolades and worldwide record sales of nearly 100 million, Sting’s greatest hits will be reinterpreted with brand new orchestrations created especially for this tour. Selections will include fan-favorites such as “Roxanne,” “Next To You,” “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic” and “Every Breath You Take,” to notable songs from Sting’s enduring solo career – “Englishman in New York,” “Fragile,” “Russians,” “If I Ever Lose My Faith in You,” “Fields of Gold,” and “Desert Rose.”
Should be a great concert! Tickets go on sale for this March 29th at 10am!

We’ve got even more announcements coming your way, probably more this week! So stay tuned!
