Hi, this is Amy's mother. Her step-dad said not to embarrass her but I don't know if that is possible. Anyway, the two concerts that we went to at Riverbend this summer were Earth Wind and Fire/Chicago and the Moody Blues. I can honestly say these events were the highlight of our summer. The outside venue and convenient parking were also a plus. At mid-life you don't want to walk too far to get to your seat. Don't laugh Amy you will understand in 30 yrs. The food is also great for this type venue, we were pleasantly surprised about this. Keep offering Montgomery Inn selections. You can have your dinner there before the concert. No need to stop somewhere differently beforehand. Bob even thought the beer was very reasonable! The crowd at both concerts were of a wide range of ages and we all blended quite well. Earth Wind and Fire/ Chicago were like fine wine, they get better and better with age. I really think it was a brilliant idea that they have combined the two groups. Bob and I were on our feet dancing and singing the whole concert. I felt like I was in my 20s again! The Moody Blues concert was equally pleasurable. We had VIP seats, thank you Amy! They showed pics of the band from the 60s on. It was so nostalgic. Riverbend has ALWAYS been my favorite music venue. I am looking forward to many more concerts there in the years to come. Amy one suggestion for the mid-life group. More bands from the 60s and 70s? Check with me for which ones. Oh I have probably embarrassed her! Oh well.
